Athletic Training Residency Program

The Bellin Health Athletic Training Residency Program is a one-year immersive program that begins in July of every year. This is a limited term (1 year), full time salaried position. This residency program provides the athletic training resident with educational and real-world opportunities in the clinical, outreach and industrial settings.

Mission

To provide the athletic training resident a comprehensive, immersive experience that enhances the knowledge and skills of an athletic trainer within the disciplines of clinical, outreach and industrial settings. The aim is to develop a multifaceted healthcare professional that delivers exceptional patient care in a variety of settings. Through clinical, outreach and industrial athletic training experience supplemented by didactic education, the resident will find their path as a member of the interdisciplinary health care team.

To become a leader in post-professional athletic training education by producing a comprehensive healthcare professional in a variety of settings.

Who Should Apply

To qualify for admission to the Bellin Health Athletic Training Residency Program, applicants must have:

Titletown Movement Retraining, Movement Performance Lab

Applications are accepted from January 2 through March 15
Once applications are received, applicants will be contacted for phone interview(s) and references will be checked. Appropriate candidates will be invited for a formal interview in March pending scheduling of applicant and program committee members.

Please note, incomplete applications will not be considered. Applications must be received in full, no later than March 15 in order to be considered. Any applications received after this time will be reviewed at the discretion of the AT Residency Program Director.
